Midwest Foods

Energy efficient design and construction

Completion: May 2016

Midwest Foods’ premises are some of the most technical and innovative in Blueridge Business Park. The building boasts not only complex refrigeration, but also warehousing, office space and a retail space. The premises were purpose built for energy efficiency.

Their previous premises – where operations were split across two buildings – not only caused process inefficiencies but also contributed to a hefty power bill. Since the move the business has not seen any increase in electricity costs, despite tripling the size of their premises.

Working with Blueridge Projects was excellent and seamless. Our requirements were complex, but nothing was ever an issue. Working with Paul [Knaggs], a handshake was a handshake and it meant something.
